Nicole Cochran
Therapy
About Me.
I’m Nicole, a licensed clinical social worker and parent, and I bring an approachable style grounded in solid clinical training and experience.
With specialized training in perinatal mental health, I support clients through the emotional complexities of pregnancy, postpartum, fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, and OBGYN-related care, with an understanding of how deeply these experiences can impact identity, relationships, and the nervous system.
I have a long history of community-based work. I’ve also held leadership roles within hospital settings, where I worked closely with multidisciplinary teams and developed a strong understanding of how medical systems intersect with mental health. This experience allows me to support clients with both clinical insight and practical awareness of healthcare environments.
My approach is trauma-informed and attachment-focused, shaped by training in EMDR and a strong interest in somatic, body-based work. I frequently work with adults who are carrying the impact of their own childhood trauma, particularly as it shows up during parenting, caregiving, and other major life transitions. I help clients build safety, self-trust, and more compassionate relationships with themselves and others.
I strive to offer a steady, attuned, and collaborative therapeutic space, one where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered as they process past experiences, navigate the present, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.
